The end of the story

So, radio personality Paul Harvey died today in Phoenix. I grew up listening to Harveys rich voice telling snippet tales that delved a smidge deeper into well-known people, events or other components of history to reveal new or surprising facts. The 90-year-old worked in radio for more than 60 years.

My sixth-grade English teacher used to read our class a Harvey story every Monday since we were the class right after lunch. The one that always stood out in my memory was of how potato chips were a mistake made by a chef in New York City when he sliced a potato intended for French fries too thin. Silly, I know.

But, yeah. I guess that really is the rest of the story.
