While compiling my list for Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop yesterday, I said the seventh thing that makes me happy (not that they’re in any particular order) are hugs. Number 7 included a photograph of a guy holding a sign that said “Free Hugs” standing on a sidewalk at an outdoor cafe, hugging someone.
And I said to myself:
“Self?”
“Yes?”
“That is a fantastic idea. You should do that.”
So, since energy around here today is like a FloRida song — Low, low, low, low — and I was looking for a morale booster I decided to give it a shot and see how it works for a dozen cosmetology students and their instructors.
So I taped this sign to my office door and now am waiting to see if anyone takes me up on it. Which they totally should if they know what’s good for them because I give killer hugs. Just a fact, Jack.
Please don’t judge my artwork. I’m a graphic designer. I don’t pretend talent at freehand! 😉
I’ll let you know how my experiment works out. 🙂
I love your free hug experiment! I can’t wait to find out how it turns out.
