The money tree is hibernating

As a brand-new school, we have to wait two years before we can become accredited and accept government financial aid. In the meantime, I am looking for alternative means to help our students fund their education — because we don’t want anyone who is passionate about becoming a hair dresser to not come to school simply because of money!

As I council students on how, yes, they really CAN afford to come here, I want to be able to have some options ready when it comes to scholarships and grants that can be accepted by non-accredited schools.

Though my journalism background comes in handy for the whole research process, I’d love to pool some outside resources. Does anyone have any experience with such funding options? If so, shoot me a holla!
